Wordsmithie Side Hustlers: Bianca Connolly

Wordsmithie Team Spotlight: Bianca Connolly

Creative Writing, Creative Living

Bianca Connolly takes a creative approach to almost everything she does — including writing for Wordsmithie, where she’s crafted UX copy and case studies for some of our big-tech clients, such as Google Shopping and Google for Education.

When she turns off her computer, Bianca’s creative juices keep flowing. “I write poetry, am working on a novel, and am also a healing arts practitioner,” she says. “I’m really inspired by life in all its forms, nature, transcendence, and spirituality.”

Bianca has a B.A. in psychology from Arizona State University. A true creative spirit, she’s written for a number of publications and businesses, starting out at Desert Living Magazine, moving on to write for Macys.com, Razorfish, J.Crew, Observer.com, and Google Shopping among many others. Bianca has lived and worked in New York City for more than a decade, a diverse and dynamic environment that suits her inquisitive, eclectic nature.

Soon, she’ll be launching a business called BIEN (French for “good”) to practice what she calls “life architecture.” Bianca shares her aspirations: “I’m certified in many modalities including hypnosis, breathwork, health coaching, meditation, Reiki, and soon-to-be holistic interior design,” she says. “I use a multifaceted approach to my work to help clients heal, repattern, and create a life that brings lasting joy and fulfillment through my four pillars: The Mind, The Body, The Spirit, and The Space. It’s about a lifestyle of beauty, balance, and becoming.”

All her creative endeavors, Bianca says, complement her work for Wordsmithie. “I think the fact that I write creatively makes me a better writer all-around,” she says. “It helps me find creative solutions and think outside the box.” And, she adds, “The healing arts work has expanded my mind, my instincts, and my intuition, which helps me tap into all of my senses when I write and really get into the flow.”
